Following my MA thesis I decided to work on the design of a multiscript typeface (Japanese-Latin) which, rather than harmony, seeked interweaving : a link among differences. After 3 months of experimental researches, the use of the brush for both Japanese (pointed brush) and Latin (flat brush) combined with a coherent pressure became the design starting point. By drawing alongside Japanese and Latin characters with feedbacks from both Japanese and Latin Type Designers, I tried to conceive a consistent relationship beetween those two scripts.
