In order to design properly a Roman and Italic revival from the Dictionnaire historique et critique written by Pierre Bayle, printed by Michel Böhm in 1720, Mathis Borel and I made researches and observations from the book as a whole to the letters. These are extracts of the booklet we made which include both macro and micro typographic analyses. We tried to keep the visual nomenclature of the book we studied as a reference (comments in thin lateral columns, margins…).
