[work in progress] Big came out of an exercice with Indian ink and a brush. I tried to paint translation letters as bold, as wide and with the higher contrasts as I could on paper with keeping the constraint of legibility. Ascenders and descenders are short to support the compact effect. Serifs are slanted as the brush marked the paper.
