As part of my BA diploma project, which involves the design of a Japanese-french billigual book collection, I made a lot of experimentations around the relation between kanji and furigana. First as a duo, later as a blended part of the text. The aim was to question this systematic visual balance within the framework of the design of an object intended for learning Japanese.
