Dumbtype is a multidisciplinary art collective created in 1984 in Kyoto and still active today. Dumbtype brings together comedians, graphic designers, videographers, architects, musicians, as well as dancers and claim to be a collective free from hierarchy. Their work is marked by a mathematical and technological rigor combined with randomness : a bug aesthetic. Having that in mind, I tried to draw a monograph in their image.
